A senior trade finance partner with over four decades of direct participation in global trade. Ossiano operates across more than 50 countries, working alongside exporters, importers, manufacturers, and large buyers. We provide supply chain financing solutions, with a focus on Trade Payable financing and supplier financing - enabling suppliers to receive faster payments while buyers retain extended payment terms. The result is improved working capital, stronger free cash flow generation, and greater liquidity for every participant in the chain.
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Executive to lead growth across Latin America. This person will generate new business, acquire supplier and buyer clients, and expand Ossiano's footprint across the region. The ideal candidate combines corporate finance acumen with in-depth knowledge of Latin American markets, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a proven record of selling B2B capital services or supply chain finance solutions.
- Prospect, originate, and close new Trade Payable financing and supply chain financing opportunities with suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and large buyers across LATAM.
- Develop and execute a regional sales plan to achieve revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM systems such as Salesforce; qualify leads, forecast accurately, and maintain timely activity metrics.
- Establish and nurture strategic relationships with C-level executives, procurement leaders, finance teams, and treasury professionals at client companies.
- Conduct needs assessments, deliver compelling value propositions, and present tailored proposals and risk-adjusted ROE analyses.
- Lead end-to-end deal cycles: structuring terms, coordinating with credit, risk, legal, and operations teams, and guiding client onboarding.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations to tailor solutions to LATAM markets and ensure client success.
- Monitor regulatory, compliance, and tax considerations across countries; ensure adherence to AML / KYC, anti-corruption, and local financial regulations.
- Develop and maintain market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and trends; adjust strategy accordingly.
- Represent Ossiano at industry events, conferences, webinars, and client-facing meetings.
- Prepare executive-level proposals and contract negotiations; manage renewal and expansion opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Five or more years of B2B sales experience in LATAM, preferably in financial services, credit risk insurance, private credit, or supply chain financing / Trade Payable financing.
- Demonstrated success selling complex financial solutions to suppliers and buyers; proven ability to close mid-to-large transactions.
- Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese highly valued, particularly for the Brazil market.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and consultative selling skills.
- Experience selling in multi-country LATAM environments; navigating diverse regulatory landscapes.
- Account-led, consultative and advisory selling.
- Financial structuring and credit fluency.

A billion tonnes a year move on Capesize hulls between a handful of deep-water terminals. In 2024 global coal tonnage hit a record while export revenue fell $87 billion from the 2022 peak. Russia stopped filing trade data in 2022. We reconstructed the export book from 96 importer countries to map where the trade actually moves.
